The Disc Golf Streak, Day 2819 (Kyle's Graduation BYOP)

Day 2819

We haven't throw a lot of organized events lately . . . but Josh was having a BYOP doubles for Kyle's (and Grady's) graduation so we weren't going to miss that.  Daniel & Kyle played a lot of dubs together a few years ago in the Osage v Burg team matches -- they were a little bit shorter back then.  Kyle is graduating from LaSalle and will be attending UC for engineering . . . and hopefully playing on their very good disc golf team.  He's made massive improvements and the last time I looked he is a 950 golfer and still improving!

The event was at Osage . . . we threw Open . . . one round from blues and one from reds.  Surprisingly we actually fared better from the blues . . . we were in second place after round 1 but fell to middle of the pack when we couldn't collect enough birdies from the shorts.  Highlights included him getting solo deuces on 1, 3 & 7 from the blues.  Single best shot was putting a Felon under the pin from #7 blue tee.  We both threw pretty well and had a good time.

Also worth a note . . . lost a disc on Shauna's corner . . . found by Nevan Coyle who mailed it back to me.  Good guy and now his kind act is recorded in the annals of disc golf history forever.
