Days 2872 & 2873
Took a trip to Indy . . . played Grassy Creek on Thurs and Blue Heron on Fri.
Grassy Creek back nine was like Millikin, front nine was crammed in a park. Overall layout was fun, but unsafe (playgrounds, picnic tables, walkways, crossing fairways, etc).
Blue Heron seemed nice but we only played half of it. Kind of open and long and lots of water hazards. It was pouring rain and we spent a long time under trees trying to stay dry. Would have been a nice course, just too rainy on this day. But that was our Indy trip in a nutshell . . . rain followed us everywhere all the time.
