He's on Christmas break so we headed up and threw Echo Valley. Probably have played it 8-10 times now. Chilly, of course, since it's winter but it wasn't too bad considering it's winter. But that sunshine is so deceiving . . . it looks so nice and yet it's so cold . . . because it's winter. Anyway, Echo Valley is a great championship level course but I think it's just too hard for me. I can play golf and manage it but it is so tough with one million trees out there. I did manage a birdie on Hole 16 (I think). So many trees in the middle of the fairways I imagine even the pros would find it challenging.
