The Disc Golf Streak, Day 2084 (Cheryl's Choice 3 @ Osage)

Day 2084

Danny played in Cheryl's Choice today at Osage . . . 27 holes, 3 temp holes, rest red pads (except 18).  Longer layout than usual since most baskets were in long positions.

Had Chris Greyson, Matt Walsh and Devin Hoffer on his card.  I caddied.  This was a great card, everyone was fun to throw with and had good attitudes even when at times things weren't going great.

Matt ended up winning the card with an 82 (par 81) and everyone else tied at 87.

Danny threw reasonably well and putted well.  As always kept his cool when Osage decided to be, well, Osage.  Almost entirely backhand today as he only uses the forehand as a utility shot these days and doesn't want to make his arm sore . . . probably a course and layout where throwing some forehands would help.   Think his round rated at 843 which is a bit under his rating, so nothing special but the quality of his throwing was good and he had fun (which is good since it was a 4+ hour round).

Should note this was another great tournament run by Crossover Disc Golf (Josh & Cheryl Terwilleger).  They run more events in our area than anyone else, they do a great job running everything smoothly and their events are cheaper and have more variety (you can always find something you want to throw).

Unfortunately I forgot to take any pics today, oops.  Too busy keeping scoring and doling out candy I guess. LOL
