Day 1839
We played KY State Doubles today at Idlewild. Two rounds of 24 holes. Weather was nice, no rain, 80's, partly sunny, good day for it. Somewhat windy at times though.
We played in the intermediate division and had great cards both rounds -- first round with Zach Kiesler and Garrett Atchinson (who ended up winning the division!) and the second round with Cody Philips and Eli Gould. Both were very enjoyable to throw with.
We ended up 16th out of 21 groups (shot 9-under par on some very generous pars). We threw well enough mostly, reasonably satisfied with that, but it's a tough course.
It was tiring, enough so that Danny ditched his bag for the second round and just played with four discs (and borrowed some from time to time from me). That worked out a lot better and he had more energy and threw much better in the second round.
Played in KY State Doubles. Disc golf bucket list item checked off. 👍
