The Disc Golf Streak, Day 1566 (Wilson Park in Middletown)

Day 1566

It was a lot colder today so we headed up to a short course today -- Wilson Park in Middletown.  Cold day, high about 40 degrees so something short and open sounded better than a long wooded course round like we've been doing lately.

It's a small little course behind an elementary school, actually pretty fun for the space. Nice little neighborhood 9, even had long and short tees and would be great for safari. Not saying it's worth traveling to play (it's not) but I was impressed with what was done in the space. Good place for some ace runs.  I hit cage once, we each had a couple ace runs as well.

And it was a nice change from the crowds at Johnson Hills -- we had the entire place to ourselves until the end of our second round.

We just played dubs from the short tees a couple times and shot a 36 (-18).  Yes, it was that easy, but still fun.

Pics of the really neat painted basket bands:

And one from Tee 1 as always . . .

Danny -- remember sitting in the car afterward watching those two dads and their kids throw 1,000 discs off the first tee and cracking ourselves up doing commentary?  Like you said as we pulled away "I think I'm all out of laughs."  😂
