The Disc Golf Streak, Day 1405 (Fun round with Eric @ Lincoln Ridge)

Day 1405

Eric was back in town so we got up early and drove to Lincoln Ridge to beat the heat.

It. Didn't. Work.

I guess technically we beat the really, really bad heat that came later in the day, but even starting at 9am (finishing at 11:30) it was already hot, humid and with the elevation a tiresome round.  High was 93 today, in the shade wasn't too bad but the elevation, sun and 90 degree temps were rough.

It was good to throw with Eric again -- it had been quite a few months -- and he liked the course . . . he didn't remember throwing it when we were younger (but we did).

Danny threw 18 holes before he decided he'd had enough and just walked the rest of the way.

Eric & I soldiered through all 24 holes.  Played singles today which is a rarity when we throw together.  I threw pretty well overall . . . no bogeys, three birdies so a 3-under.  Helps when the only thing you miss in the circle all day is one birdie putt (that just turned and slid right through the chains).  Makes the game a lot easier.

Got a new shirt for Father's Day that I wore today . . . all I can say is we tried to follow its advice . . .
