Day 1363
Decided to play Monroe . . . very hot and humid . . . 87 degrees and rained all week . . . course was decently drained (just some algae (!) in the fairways) . . . played dubs . . . shot a 64 (8-under) which should be about 960-965 golf. Still room to improve since we had a very slow start, so we'll keep working toward our "1000-rated doubles team" goal.
Did I mention it was hot? We both decided we preferred playing in the winter with handwarmers . . . no bugs, no heat, no leaves, less crowded . . . I think the humidity got to us. The Speedy Freeze was delightful today. 😀
