Day 957
Crossover Disc Golf hosted a Glowdown Showdown tonight at Osage. The weather forecast was predicting thunderstorms overnight so the turnout was low, but the weather was pleasantly warm and the rain held off until we finished.
Danny's not a fan of glow golf and Josh was throwing with Kyle so I teamed up with his wife Cheryl in the mixed division. We ended up 1-down and took second place out of five mixed teams. Phil & Susan won the division at 2-down -- they putted better than we did. We hit a lot of trees . . . in the dark . . . that we couldn't see . . . until we saw our discs go ricocheting in another direction. Very challenging.
I think we both decided that glow golf is like White Castles . . . you only do it when you've forgotten the last time.
