Day 818.
A cold, blustery, snowy evening here . . . so we only spent 20 minutes putting in freezing temperatures. Brrr . . .
Came inside and decided to knock out the PDGA Certified Rules Official Exam. Not bad, he (we) managed to get 22/25 on the first try and got him qualified and most of misses were just misunderstandings or misreadings.
Another step out of the way on our path to taking a roadtrip to Emporia, KS next year . . . and it absolutely cracks me up that he's qualified to run PDGA sanctioned events now.
When I mentioned that to him he said he was going to host a doubles tournament. I told him it was a lot of work and hassle and that TD's don't make any money off events and he told me that he'd make the entry $100/team ($50/person) and the prize for the winner would be a small cookie. LOL
