Day 708.
Met Josh Terwilliger and his sons Kyle and Jacob (I call him "Jake-Up" because of his good "ups" i.e. approaches) at the Burg (Williamsburg Community Park).
Getting right to the highlight of the night:
Josh got his first ever ace on Hole 5 with a sweet Fury backhand shot. He said he's been hitting chains a lot lately . . . I told him the night before at Osage dubs that he should just spend a day at Winton and get it over with . . . but lo and behold the next night he hit his first ace.
We played dads v kids at Burg -- Par 3 for us and Par 4 for the boys. We were tied at 12-down going in the last hole (#20) . . . Josh parks us for a sure birdie, Danny puts a nice drive out there and Jake-Up steps up and puts in a 40-50' throw-in/putt for the eagle and the win. Dads 13-under, Kids 14-under. Very competitive and fun round.
