Took a short trip to Great Smoky NP and stayed near Gatlinburg -- about 5 minutes away from Mills Park, a really nice 9 hole course laid out through a community park. Probably the best 9 hole course we've played other than Johnson Hills.
Got up early before the girls every day to get a round in and keep the streak going. Challenging and interesting course (but fairly short). Hole #9 (pictured) was fun -- a short standstill shot from a square teepad down a very steep hill (so steep Danny couldn't walk down it without help). Kind of like the hill hole at Williamsburg . . . but without steps.
Definitely worth a stop for anyone on vacation in the Gatlinburg area.
