The Disc Golf Streak, Day 298 (Winton Woods & Harbin)

Day 298 of the streak.

Played a round at Winton and Harbin. Harbin was new to us, course #21 for Danny, #28 for me. Perfect weather. Courses fairly crowded today (but no big deal).

Highlight of the day -- Danny threw a -1 (53) at Winton! Can't believe the kid threw an under par round. We talked about it walking up to 18 when he was even . . . and he hit a 40-45' putt/throw-in on #18 for his first round under par at Winton. Very exciting! (I threw a 45.) Attached a little video of him throwing on #14 . . . landed 5' from the basket.

Harbin was decent, almost the same as Dunham in my opinion. Nice to get to pull out the drivers after being at Winton, grass was well tamed at this point. We played dubs and threw -2 (52) and the highlight probably was our only bogey of the day -- getting a drop-in 4 on #4 (725' hole). Danny didn't like this course really, too much sun, too open, too much itchy grass, too long for him, didn't suit his game. But he didn't like Dunham either. Eric J Mathis, you will like this course. Oh and they had some huge hawks or eagles hovering right over the middle of the course near the water tower, so he was going to draw that into his nature journal.

Love my disc golf buddy so much . . . only 8 days to his birthday. I can't wait until he sees the custom disc golf T-shirt I had made for him with two of our favorite sayings on it.
