Day 3230
Off for the 4th of July so we decided to go play 24 holes of doubles at Idlewild. Quite hot, around 90 degrees, mostly sunny . . . wasn't too bad in the woods but was an oven on the open holes. Course wasn't too crowded, played through a couple groups (one from Europe) since we were moving fast playing dubs.
Overall threw pretty well, shot a 79 on 24 holes, some good shots, some stinkers, could have been better . . . even with two of us putting I don't think we made a Circle 2 putt all day. Just one of those days when the long ones wouldn't go in.
A month or so ago Daniel's bag (Fossa Skinny Pro) split open at a seam. That was his second Fossa bag (it replaced a worn out Skinny 2) . . . contacted Fossa and they immediately sent him a replacement. Stuff happens, he has always loved his Fossa bags so it's good to know they stand behind them. Obviously we/the streak aren't sponsored by anybody and not too many people read this, but a shout out to Fossa for taking care of the problem.
Below: Skinny Pro pic on the Y-mando hole at Idlewild . . . Holds about 20 discs when filled up and stands like a mountain goat on a hillside compared to my Shift. IMO it's a smaller version of the Upper Park Rebel (imo) . . . great for people who don't need tournament level storage and just want a smaller, lighter (and cheaper) bag.
