Day 3197
Played a round at Monroe . . . went a lot better than a few weeks ago when it was *super* windy . . . we both managed to go under par this time . . . 4-under for me, 1-under for him . . . highlights included us both having drop-in 3's on 17 (he could have had a putt if it wasn't for a wind gust) . . . my favorite memory was as we were dueling it out (he was up one with four holes to go) we were standing on 23's teepad and it was windy and I decided to just throw an Enforcer to cut through the wind even though it isn't a pretty shot or a skill shot . . . so I threw the forehand and it was way out to the left but came skipping back over to the basket and landed a foot or two away and I said to him "it's better to be stable than good!" 😁
No pics on a beautiful day for throwing.
Other notes: threw rounds at Vineyard and Gulley this week. I've been working on just throwing all backhands standstill and I haven't lost any distance and have gained accuracy so it seems to be working out pretty well. His distance is starting to dwarf mine, several times at Monroe I'm trying to flex a driver and he's throwing a Verdict. I was impressed, at Gulley on Hole 15 he had a very long putt for 2 off his drive. I think I won 54 to 55 that day.
