Played 18 at home. Aced hole #15 with a Pro-D Banger. (I've now aced with 2 of the 3 Bangers that David Cox sold me.)

The Disc Golf Streak, Day 1041 (on the road to Emporia)

Day 1041. Drove from Cincinnati to St. Louis and visited with Scott & Katie (and Sam & Claire) and then continued on to Ottawa, KS about an hour outside Emporia (on the way to Junior Worlds). That was about 10 hours of driving and about 13 hours of travel. It was a long drive . . . After we got to Ottawa we ate at DQ (what no KFC?!?! The GPS said there would be a KFC here!), then played at Forest Park and then got ice cream at DQ. Forest Park was a lot like Milliken (park style with trees).

The Disc Golf Streak, Day 2375 (VIneyard)

Day 2375 Threw a round at Vineyard. Nice day for it and not too many people out there today. He birdied Hole 13 for the first time with a pure drive down the designated fairway. I threw a backhand drive on 15 for the first time . . . and put it within 5'. Go figure, guess I should have tried that before.

The Disc Golf Streak, Day 1440 (Boone & South Fork casual rounds)

Day 1440 Decided to practice the last couple courses on the league schedule that we don't know very well, so we went to Boone & South Fork. Day started cool, but it was more humid and got hotter than it has been for the past week. Boone has had a mild redesign in layout since the last time we were there -- now there are new Holes 4 & 5 in the space behind Hole 3 and Hole 13 now combines what used to be 11 & 12. Lots and lots of new trees planted around the course, a great idea that will improve the course in years to come. Overall the redesign is an improvement as the three new holes are tougher and more interesting than the old ones. Terrible signage aside (thank goodness we had a course map) I like this course and with the changes I'll add it to our short "good" list. We threw well and had fun playing dubs and went 7-down.
