Played 18 at home. Aced hole #15 with a Pro-D Banger. (I've now aced with 2 of the 3 Bangers that David Cox sold me.)

The Disc Golf Streak, Day 2472 (Mt. Airy, end of spring club league)

Day 2472 Beautiful night for disc golf, cool, dry and comfortable. We've been throwing Wed night club (GCDGA) league again this year. Tonight was the last week of league and we finished up at Mt. Airy. Daniel had his own partner this year (Rob Glover) and headed into the last week they were in second place. Together they made up Team Burnt Weiner. They both threw well, Daniel with a 62 and Rob with a 60, which is something like 900 and 920 golf. Huge improvement from Daniel this session . . . last year he was still about eight strokes behind me . . . now we are neck and neck. I think my handicap is still a stroke and a half better but he beat me at a tournament a week ago and most weeks in league we were very close. Our distance is equal at this point (and I still have eight inches and 60+ pounds on him). Anyway, his days as a "B" player in league are definitely over. The Disc Golf Streak, Day 2549 (club league @ Burnet woods, Daniel ace)

Day 2549 Wed night league at Burnet Woods. Super hot tonight, car read 97 degrees pulling into the parking lot. Daniel aced Hole 8 with the Pig (Tony Vincent, Paul Duebel & Derek Clayton on his card): Tony had the league hot round with a 12-under. My "opponent" Tyler shot a 44, I had a 46 and Daniel had a 47.

The Disc Golf Streak, Day 2595 (Batavia Sports Complex)

Day 2595 Fall has arrived and it was very cool and windy today. We had some free time so we headed out to a new course -- Batavia Sports Complex. I believe this was designed by Donny Conrad and installed by him with assistance of the Clermont County Disc Golf Club. (Pretty sure but could be mistaken.) Hasn't officially opened yet (no tee signs) but pads, baskets and some "next tee" arrows are installed and lots of throwers were out playing it today. Anyway, it is a short beginner level course -- most of the holes are 150-175'. And considering that it throws very nicely. It reminds me of Winton Woods before some many of the trees (ash) were culled. Nothing here that is difficult to birdie but enough trees that is is difficult to get them all. The scenery with the trees kind of reminded me of a scale version of Millikin. First time through with a chilly wind I got nine birdies and one bogey. Definitely a course I'd expect to shoot double digits down more oft
