Day 641 of the streak.
Today we met Allen & Samuel up at Osage and played 18 holes from the red tees. Funny that I met Allen a couple weeks ago when he was visiting his grandparents and his wife and kids came in my yard to retrieve his dogs . . . and we started talking about disc golf . . . to find out he also volunteers his time taking care of my favorite disc golf course, Osage.
Anyway, today we played kids v dads dubs, we played Par 3, they played Par 4. We shot a 49, they shot a 65 so they beat us by two strokes. This is such a good format to let kids build some camaraderie playing together and give them a good chance to win without making it too easy.
We had a good time, the boys played well together and they each had some fun trying out different roller shots.
I'm starting to think we might actually have enough parents and kids interested in disc golf to do some kid of parent-kid league.
