Day 566 of the streak.
Played Birdie Bash today at Mt Airy. This is the event that both of us enjoy the most together. Had enough energy to play two rounds (60 holes). First round we played with Lamar & Lucas & Russell. Second round with Kevin & Eric. Danny threw great both rounds, but results improved dramatically from Round 1 to 2 going from 2 to 8. I also went from 11 to 16.
Attached picture is from the second round -- his most impressive shot of the day, a drop-in on what is pretty much normal Hole 8 at Airy. First round he was about 10' right pin-high, second round was this drop-in. Next best (honorable mention) was second round hitting the island green on 30 (which was a great way to wrap up the day).
Just had so much fun, such a beautiful day.
We could throw at short baskets all day long . . . and so much better than watching the Muskies and Bearcats tonight.
