The Disc Golf Streak, Day 326 (Reserves & Milliken Mile)

Day 326 of the streak.

Played two rounds at Reserves and then went to Millikin Mile (my 29th course, I think Danny's 22nd). Great course, really like what was done with the space. Lot of trees but good lines available. Overall it's a nice length, has good tees and one of few with good direction signs to the next pad. Played triples with Eric at Millikin and used quite a few of Danny's shots.

BTW, BP-3 is a great disc golf bag for a kid. Idlewild last weekend and these courses today and he didn't ask me once to carry his bag. Used to have him ask me carry his Fade Crunch shoulder bag for him a lot. And he's carrying a lot more discs and water with him now.

No real highlight today, just having fun. Well, maybe the highlight was the car ride home listening to Danny (quiet boy?!?!) go on for 15 minutes about the advantages of disc golf over ball golf. Not the least of which we decided -- on this 90+ degree day -- was that disc golf can and should be played in the shady woods whereas the goal of ball golf is to be out on the sunny fairway.
