The Disc Golf Streak, Day 1797 (Boone County Open -- Ams)

Day 1797

Signed Danny up for the Boone County Ams at Boone Park.  Two rounds, 18 holes.  The course has gotten a lot tougher over the past year as many trees have been planted and many pins have been pushed back.

The day was comfortable and the weather was dry . . . except for five minutes during the second round.  But it was a good day.  He had two really good cards to throw with -- first round he threw with four ladies and second round with four rec guys.  Both groups were really fun to throw with.  I just caddied and kept score.

He threw pretty well both rounds and ended up with a 59 and 61.  Pretty good for him considering how long the course was.  I was impressed with how well he threw, almost every drive hit his intended line.  Anyway, his rounds were 851 and 828 rated which was pretty good since it wasn't a course he could score very well on (he needs a little more distance to get himself a few more birdie opportunities).  Ended up finishing 18th out of 32 in Rec.  Good division for him to throw in.

Only pic I took the whole day . . . I was busy scoring for the cards . . . I took this while sitting up against a shade tree while they putted out . . .
