The Disc Golf Streak, Day 1778 (Argos Community Park & Centennial Park, northern IN)

Day 1778

Took a trip to northern Indiana to visit the Indiana Dunes and South Bend . . . disc golf was not a priority so we played two "rounds" at Argos Community Park (Argos, IN) and Centennial Park (Plymouth, IN).  Think that puts us up to 62 courses.

Argos is a 9 hole course and Centennial a 5 hole course.  So nothing serious . . . except one thing about them was very serious . . . the bugs.  I thought they were working for the Red Cross the way they tried to suck all of our blood.  It was nearly impossible to stand still to try and putt or take a second to aim . . .

So they would have been quick rounds anyway but we *flew* through our rounds.

Evidently I should do this more often as UDisc leaderboards show each of those rounds as the second best of all time at the courses. Which of course is mostly a statement that the courses don't receive a lot of play.  But still threw pretty well for pretty much walking up to my lie and throwing in one continuous motion.

Neither had teepads and both were simple designs, but they were courses and we enjoyed getting out and throwing.

This picture made me laugh -- it's his "where the heck are the teepads?"
