The Disc Golf Streak, Day 1590 (casual dubs @ Osage)

 Day 1590

Typical 35 degree winter day . . . decided to throw Osage.  Pleasant surprise, it was empty and we had the place to ourselves.  First time that's ever happened.  Not a single car/person the entire time we were there.

Played dubs as usual these days.  Lots of casual dubs rounds lately, hit up Woodland yesterday and ran into John Schengber and threw a round with him for the first time.  Anyway, today we threw dubs and were on fire.  Not a perfect round by any stretch, but throwing reds to mostly long we scored 47 (-7) which I estimate to be a 998-rated round.

We both threw and putted well today and had a lot of holes with "best drives ever."  Couldn't believe how far the discs were gliding for us today given the cold weather and layers and cold plastic and cold hands, but he was really crushing them out there today.  Will be great to see how that translates with warmer weather.

This is a pic of his putt for birdie on "14" . . .

This is pic of him refusing to leave the teepad on "14" because his drive was so beautiful he just kept standing there and staring at it.

And the empty parking lot, never seen before and a welcome change from the overcrowding we've experienced a lot lately.

Danny, remember stopping at Chick-fil-A for lunch on the way there? Remember throwing it pin high on 3?  Remember me finally making it through and parking it on 5?  And of course your beautiful drive on Hole 14 pictured above. 😀
