Day 1489
Wed night league ended this past week and today we met up with Tony, Rob and Will to do some fun throwing at Winton. Did one round of one disc (I went with a Judge and Danny used a Roc3) then we threw a round with maxi/junior discs (or lids, player's choice). What a blast! We had so much fun hanging out with those guys and joking around and throwing casually.
No real score keeping was done . . . in the mini round the highlights for Danny were cranking his Nuke mini past the basket on 15 and forehanding the Nuke on 12 really far. Almost wish he could put that little disc in his bag.
I did take one picture, this was classic -- Rob's drive on Hole 17 at Winton . . . his mini disc is a few feet to the right of his head. Anyone who has played Winton will immediately recognize what a "great" drive that was. (In fairness, he was playing with a lid and just giving his mini disc an occasional toss . . . but we all had a good laugh at that one.)
