The Disc Golf Streak, Day 1310 (passed Everett Scott)

Day 1310.

We keep track of our streak compared to baseball's longest consecutive games played streaks.  A few days ago we passed Everett Scott, a shortstop for the Red Sox/Yankees whose streak lasted 1,307 games from 1916 to 1925.  Interesting fact -- he hit .667 for the Reds in his last season (4-for-6).  Another interesting fact -- Lou Gehrig's streak started about a week after Scott's streak ended . . . when Gehrig pinch hit for the guy (Pee Wee Wanninger) who had replaced Scott in the starting lineup.  That was the first game of his streak of 2,130 consecutive games.  Then the next day Gehrig famously replaced Wally Pipp in the starting lineup.

With the corona virus in full swing we're getting plenty of rounds in on the home course.   Haven't ventured out to throw since Day 1300.
