The Disc Golf Streak, Day 880 (Crossover PDGA League)

Day 880.

Been playing a lot lately as always, but not too much worth writing about.  Well other than winning another round at putting league on Tuesday (and Danny finishing third and fourth in a couple rounds, just missing cashing) and playing a fun round with Gibby, Tim C and Tim G yesterday . . . mostly we've been putting a lot in the basement because of the very cold weather.

So, today we headed up to the Crossover Weekly PDGA League put on by Josh Terwilleger to play a round from the blue (long) tees.  It was cold (25-30 degrees) and a bit windy . . . and when we stepped out of the car Danny didn't want to throw long tees in the cold (he had said he was undecided before we got there).  So he walked with us most of the time and warmed up in the car part of the time while I played a round with Phil Miller, Rob Miller and Ryan Dalton.

We had a good time, frankly I'd rather play in 30 degree temps (frozen) than 40 degrees (mud pit).  Some teepads were icy, but overall conditions were okay.  Played all long tees to short baskets and I ended up with a 63 (par 59) which is pretty good for me and the initial rating estimate is 917.

When we got home Danny & I threw 18 holes in the yard . . . he was fooling around with a Starlite Teebird and a Millennium Polaris during our round and for whatever reason the Polaris throws much better for him than the Leopard it's supposed to resemble.

Josh gave us our Crossover team shirts today so we decided to model them . . .
