We threw No Bogeys BYOP at Airy today. Danny & I partnered up and played in intermediate together. Someday, we will cash as a doubles team . . . but today was not that day.
The course was super sloppy -- it was hard just walking along, let alone all the times we landed in mud pits, and there were numerous times we slipped while trying to throw. That said, overall we played solid enough golf and managed a 60 which was reasonable for us. Cashing scores in our division ranged from 53 to 58 so we weren't too far off.
However, there was miles of difference between us and David Taulbee and Jason Reynolds (who we played with) who shot a 53 and won the division while consistently throwing really good 350'+ drives. At least our upshots and putting kept it kind of respectable. We enjoyed throwing with them and had a good time as always.
