The Disc Golf Streak, Day 334 (Miami Whitewater & Gardner Park)

Day 334 of the streak.

Went with Danny & Eric to Miami Whitewater and Gardner Park. Miami Whitewater was new to Danny so that was his 23rd course.

I hadn't been to Miami Whitewater in 17 years (used to play it somewhat often back in the 90's). The last time I went there I threw a round with Meg and then proposed to her. :) Well, the course sure has grown up and changed in 17 years. All those little scrubby spruce trees are big now and really enhance the course. Still love the first couple wooded holes.

Went to Gardner and played the 9 holes there. Eric hadn't been before. This little course keeps growing on me . . . closest course to my house at about 15 minutes away and they did a great job of fitting a varied course into the perimeter of a park. Long/short holes, uphill/flat holes, anny/hyzer holes, wooded/open holes it has a bit of everything.

Eric is discing down now and starting to give up the distance drivers and work more on form. He struggled with the drives he threw today but threw his Mako3 extremely well and also is really lining up his putts a lot straighter. Showing a lot of progress for only being able to work on things about one day a week.

Danny was crushing it today (for him). Had some great drives at MW. Saw an uphill 140'+ from him and downhill I think 175'+ drive. But more than that, just had some great form and was getting great flights out of his discs (Leopard and Archangel primarily).

Beautiful day. Love this sport so much. Get to enjoy beautiful weather outside in nature and spend time with my son and my best friend. Life just doesn't get much better than that.
