The Disc Golf Streak, Day 291 (Highland Hills, Cincinnati State (Surge) & Burnet Woods)

Day 291 of the streak.

Went to Highland Hills, Surge (Cincinnati State) and Burnet Woods. All nine hole courses, three new ones for Danny (he's up to 20 courses now), Highland Hills was new for me (#27 for me).

Highland Hills was pretty open. A good mixture of lengths and directions and had one aceable hole for Danny (#2 which he parked).

Surge, well, this is at the bottom of both of our lists. Even with a map (we always print out course maps) we had a hard time finding the tees and baskets. It's on a steep hill, it's windy because of the hill and there are lots of walking paths and roads around and there aren't really open lines to throw for the most part. Well, mom always said to say something nice, so at least it exists and that's better than nothing.
Burnet Wood was a good time and pretty fun to play. Met an out-of-towner who's here at UC for the summer (Daniel) and we told him to play Mt Airy and get to the Nati. We finished with three birdies in a row, so that was a good way to end the day.
The highlights of the day were Danny getting his forehand out to 140' at Cincinnati State and 145' at Highland Hills. His forehand is improving rapidly and has almost caught up to his backhand at this point.

Another great day of disc golf. As Danny says "Disc Golf: It can't be not fun!"
